Also use cat litter to catch dust before it gets into the house and smells before the kitchen and they work. Without germ protection and a power filter, it can be disgusting. They work. Technically I can't say if they work as well as the original filters.

I have two Germ Guardians and I replaced the HEPA and carbon filters on one of them. The other replacement brand was not of VEVA quality and therefore did not last as long as the original in another device. VEVA IS THE ORIGINAL IN QUALITY AND FUNCTIONS. I recommend this product for use with your Germ Guardian 4825. I am VERY happy with my purchase and will purchase again.

I have used these filters before and they work very well. You'll also save money as they come with four external activated carbon filters instead of just one like the original Germ Guardian filters. Use a handheld vacuum to clean the charcoal filter every one to two weeks, depending on how much or how little dust is in the air. Replace them after a month or two. The main filter should last 4-6 months, again depending on the conditions you are operating the unit in.
