I bought this for my husband who has Parkinson's disease so he can climb onto the loft bed more easily. I chose this one because of the handle, which I thought was very unique and useful because you didn't have to bend down to pick it up and because it was a kind of railing for safety. The wood is perfect for my oak bedroom suite. The quality is like good furniture. The design is small and cute but the perfect size and height. I thought it might be slippery but it turned out not to be a problem for my husband. I really liked it and as I have a hip and knee injury I bought another one a few days later so we have the same set now. The thing is well packaged, assembled like a mummy, in foam and polyethylene in a large cardboard box. It was a great purchase and I'm very glad I found it! I highly recommend it.
