This camera never ceases to amaze me with its outstanding performance and quality. Widescreen or normal 4x3 aspect ratio for videos as well as normal photos are available in "Settings". I'm a documentary photojournalist and sometimes I need to steal a video clip from a place I'm not allowed to enter as a professional videographer. I just set the video to 4K and rotated it. I look like a tourist shooting a home movie or taking pictures. I was very surprised when I merged a video scene shot with this camera into edited footage shot with a $6,000 4K camera. It went so well with the other shots that not a single critical viewer noticed the camera change. I wouldn't recommend using it to capture the entire video for broadcast, but it's really great in situations where it's hard to get hold of.
