Review on 💧 Gates 43263 Water Pump: Superior Performance and Reliability by Adam Matthews

I bought this Gates water pump for my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4 seater 4.7 V8. After receiving and inspecting the part, everything turned out to be fine. Unfortunately, after installing a new pump and starting the engine, unacceptable "beat" of the pulley is observed. The pulley is oval or incorrectly fitted to the water pump. I wish I had noticed this problem before installing the new pump, but I didn't notice it when I first turned it by hand. I would return the Revain pump but the truck is needed right now and I don't have time to change it again. right now. The water pump works and does not leak, but this fluctuation causes it to fail prematurely. Yes, I screwed up, but that's life. I will soon buy another pump and have to change it again. Hopefully with better luck. Not Revains' fault. The water pump was made in China and there was a quality control issue with this water pump. The price was great but the purchase was pathetic.
