💧 Gates 43263 Water Pump: Superior Performance and Reliability Review

This pump started leaking after about 2 years. after installation by a professional mechanic. Now I have to replace it and pay for the installation again. I chose this Gates pump because it has a good reputation for parts. My own pump is about 13 years old. and more than 100,000 km. I think I should have bought a Mopar pump first because it was getting more and more frustrating.

after being offered a 350 to replace the water pump, I was surprised that the part cost less than $30. fits perfectly, the hardest part was removing the electric fan from the radiator due to a gap on my 2004 Liberty Jeep. I bought this Gates water pump for my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4 seater 4.7 V8. After receiving and inspecting the part, everything turned out to be fine.
