Review on SKLZ Training Defender Base Weight by Aaron Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed

I run a high level academy and am constantly buying new gear. I saw this at the trainer show last year and was waiting to get it. This is the first dummy/protector to break and fit in my trunk. In fact, four of these fit in my trunk quite easily, making my life that much easier. Most soccer coaches have everything in the car and large free kick walls cannot be used in training. Now I push the button and it folds together easily. Also, the rotation feature is amazing, I can really teach players to rotate and invite a fake defender to contact. Because of the metal bar in the middle, it's more durable than any of my other mannequins and easier to carry around than hers. I love these defenders and haven't had any problems so far. They come highly recommended to any true soccer coach. If you buy a cheap defender, he will break after a well-taken free kick. Trust me, I've had several broken guards that lasted less than a month, and in one instance, a punch broke a $125 cheap brand guard. I don't think that can happen to them and expect to have them for many years.

Cons
