These are 3 nice sturdy boxes of different sizes that can be stacked together for easy storage. They do not fold flat. The lid is built into the box and opens like a valve. The boxes are quite strong and thick. The paper has a matte finish. I got the set in Traditional which is stylish. My only complaint is that the two large boxes have the lids easily removed from the folds and attached to the box. And the largest box has a corner cut off as well. I'll probably just leave them as is because I'm concerned that adding tape to the boxes to secure those corners/seams will show through and spoil the look of the box. This is handy because they don't need to be wrapped - they're beautiful just as they are. Maybe just tie them together with a ribbon. Even a bow is not needed as they are so beautiful on their own. The largest box is suitable for a hoodie or oversized sweater. You could probably stuff a not-so-bulky sweater into a medium-sized box. The smallest size fits a variety of items such as candles, soaps, bath bombs, etc. (or a combination). $18.99 for three sturdy boxes isn't a bad price, averaging about $6.33 each. these boxes and recommend them to others.
