I needed a new comforter for my new king bed. I did some research and bought this one. The quality is excellent. The product is light, the fluff is evenly distributed, not heavy for the Texas weather. Great all-season blanket. My only issue with this duvet is that it is NOT BIG ENOUGH for a king size mattress. I have a standard size mattress, not a California king or other fancy size, and this comforter hangs appropriately around the edges. In fact, he hardly ever reaches them. I would say two inch overhangs on each side of the bed. I wanted it to look like the image for this item but unfortunately it doesn't. My fault is that I didn't measure beforehand, but it's safe to assume that if you buy a standard king size duvet, it will adequately cover a standard mattress size.
