Review on πŸ”Œ VMSTR Portable Rechargeable Food Vacuum Sealer for Sous Vide Cooking | Handheld Cordless Sous Vide Bags Storage Set (10 PCS) by Christine Chase

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So far so good - special equipment

I had to replace the old one, so I bought two different new ones. One of them just wasn't sucking air, so it's junk. This VMSTR works very well. It charged up within an hour or so. The only issue I had since my manual doesn't say anything about it was that I couldn't get the top to slide. Finally I decided to pull out the rubber half ring and it came out and the thing started working when pressed - I don't usually rip off the rubber grommets as they are usually needed. I couldn't get another vacuum that I bought at the same time to remove the air so it's junk. Luckily this uses the same bags as our previous vacuum sealer and the fancy vacuum sealer and works great. Sealed the rest of the sauce (put it in an actual zip-tie so the liquid doesn't come out of the bag's "nipple") and only sealed the few leftover pretzels that we didn't want to go stale and the vacuum worked so well that the Pretzels started to decompose. make cracking noises, so we thought the suction power was enough. We don't do sous vide, but I think that would work as well. They sell so many oversized things these days - and our family unit cheats when everyone goes about their business so we can't use up an entire jar of gravy or a giant bag of snacks, so this vacuum pack comes in handy. .
