I started using it for preventative purposes when I was about 12 weeks pregnant. Before pregnancy, I had a fit and athletic build, a flat stomach and a short build. I was very concerned about stretch marks and also because I have several tattoos on my lower abdomen I was concerned about stretching. I was about 130 pounds. Before pregnancy and now at 30 weeks I gained 25 pounds. almost all in my stomach and also some in my thighs/buttocks. I've used this at least once a day around my stomach, thighs, buttocks, thighs and the sides and bottom of my chest with great results. My skin is still perfectly smooth, no stretch marks. The cream has a good consistency, is easy to apply and, above all, does not leave a wet or greasy feeling. Applying it in the morning keeps my skin feeling soft and moisturized for most of the day and I usually try to remember to apply more in the evening. I put on clothes immediately after using it and this is perfectly normal. I've used 2 full jars so far and recently received a 3rd in the mail so I've managed to stretch the jar for about 2 months which is definitely worth the price. I can't speak to its ability to reduce the appearance of existing stretch marks, but as far as preventing them. I will definitely update if stretch marks develop.
