Works well in my review

Love this product. Works really well for both of my girls who are prone to yeast diaper rashes. The smell is very pleasant as well. Just wish it came in a tub rather than a tube because once the tube gets low it is hard to squeeze it out

Pros
  • Vegan and cruelty-free; does not contain any animal-derived ingredients
Cons
  • May not be environmentally friendly or sustainable

It works. Good ingredients.

Really like this cream especially compared to the one from Honest. Better ingredients. Works great! Clears up any diaper rashes in no time. I just docked a star because it tends to separate so you have to make sure to shake it up if you haven't used it in a while.

Pros
  • Hypoallergenic, making it suitable for those with allergies or sensitive skin
Cons
  • May have an unpleasant or medicinal smell

LOVE this stuff!: my feedback

After trying a couple of other natural brands, this is the best diaper cream for my daughter by a long shot. In nearly 14 months of life she has never had more than a tiny mark of diaper irritation. This cream always clears it up immediately where the others did not. Since you only have to use a little we are finally ordering a new tube because I couldn't find it in the couple of stores I checked.

Pros
  • Provides a barrier against wetness and moisture, protecting against further irritation
Cons
  • May contain ingredients that some parents are not comfortable using on their baby's skin

The best of the best

This is the ONLY diaper rash cream that works for my son. He was getting thick, red rashes around his genitals and butt that his pediatrician chalked up to skin irritation/allergy. After switching to more natural diapers (Bambo Nature, for inquiring minds), the rash lessened but didn't completely disappear. I was trying every diaper cream under the sun but this is the only one that completely eliminated his rashes. This stuff is a godsend.Edit: I just want to add that sometimes the tubes are…

Pros
  • Helps to promote healthy skin barrier functions
Cons
  • May cause skin to peel or become dry after repeated use

Gentle and great for sensitive skin.

My little one has such sensitive skin, butt cream is necessary for each change. I've bought many brands and I'm most content with this one. Its thick, easily spreadable, and gentle on their skin.

Pros
  • Can be used by parents or caregivers of all ages and abilities
Cons
  • May contain packaging or materials that are not recyclable

Cons: It used to be a 5 star product. They recently changed their formulation which now has far too much zinc oxide and is not nearly as gentle and mild as it used to be. I began using this a couple months after purchase, and the oil has mostly separated from the cream, so when I squeeze it, I often get mostly oil. There's also no way to shake it or get the formulation to blend better as it is a squeeze bottle. The fragrance also appears to be stronger than the old formulation, likely due to…

Pros
  • SAFE FOR LITTLE ONES: Apply liberally to clean, dry skin on baby's bottom before diapering. Use at every diaper change for best results.
Cons
  • May not be as moisturizing as other diaper creams

Natural organic healthy cream!

A little goes a long way. It is creamy and silky gentle for babies bottom with only needing a little dab lasting longer than other products. I feel good knowing that I'm using a clean organic product that has natural ingredients.

Pros
  • Organic calendula extract helps to heal and repair damaged skin
Cons
  • May contain potentially harmful chemicals or ingredients

Best smelling, best working

Best baby diaper cream out there. The smell is delightful. I don’t know what the smell is, but it’s perfectly baby and perfectly wonderful. It’s also crazy that it’s super soothing and WORKS. We love this stuff.

Pros
  • November 11, 2012
Cons
  • May have a greasy or oily texture

Changed formula? best in my review

I've tried every barrier cream and this one is the absolute best! However the last tube I got last week was runny oily kind of curdled ? Did the recipe change? I'm bummed because my sons skin is so sensitive and this never bothered him and always treated any diaper rash. No matter how much u squeeze it to mix it around its def not the same! So sad!

Pros
  • Can also be used for other skin irritations, such as eczema or chafing
Cons
  • May cause skin to feel sticky or tacky

Great, just one suggestion

The long and short of it is that this stuff is awesome, great for sensitive little bums and prevents and clears up rashes like a champ. My little girl is 6mos and has had a rash once with this stuff, and said rash cleared in a day.You don’t even use that much, just a thin layer does the trick. My ONE beef is with the packaging, sometimes it gets watery in the tube and needs to be mixed OR sometimes it’s super thick and it’s hard to squeeze. Also, don’t throw the tube away when you can’t get any…

Pros
  • Skin Care
Cons
  • May not provide long-lasting protection against diaper rash

Love this product! Will always have it!

Swear by this product my daughter had a horrible rash! Horrible! Within hours it looked better within days it was completely healed. I put this in her every couple days just because and it’s been 8 months or so since I have seen another rash at all! A little goes along way!

Pros
  • Safe for use on newborns and infants
Cons
  • May cause skin dryness or flakiness over time

This works great the size is easy to have in the diaper .

We are big fans of the Babo botanicals line esp the soothing line. This works great the size is easy to have in the diaper bag. This does serious wonders! When my son was 4 months we traveled to HI and used a different diaper for traveling my son got a terrible diaper rash. red raw and almost bleeding. We were near salt water so we thought we are never going to take him into the water. Well we applied this cream very heavily and within 24 hours it was healed and he was able to enjoy the beach.

Pros
  • Free from preservatives, ensuring no harsh chemicals come into contact with baby's delicate skin
Cons
  • May cause diaper rash to worsen in some cases

Best diaper rash cream, hands down!

My son eats a lot of fruit and we recently realized anything with too much Vitamin C/Ascorbic acid give him quite the rash. We used Babo products for bubble bath (love) and lotion (love) and decided to try this. I had tried other naturalish brands at local stores as with diaper rash you need it now and not in 2 days! But this stuff is worth the wait. Relieves and protects much better than Babyganics or Buttpaste. My son had a bad rash after just one poop and he was screaming until I put this on

Pros
  • Contains non-nano zinc oxide, which is a proven ingredient for diaper rash relief
Cons
  • May cause a burning or stinging sensation on open wounds or skin irritations

something with better ingredients, that actually worked

I LOVED the original formula and detest the new liquidy product it is now. I've been using this since discovering it shortly after my daughter was born nearly two years ago. I've seen the formula change a few times, but this newest one actually has me looking for another product or buying older botanicals. When I apply this newest formula, it's messier, doesn't stay on my daughters skin, wipes off onto her diaper in no time so that when I go to change her, it was as if I hadn't applied anything

Pros
  • Provides a gentle and effective solution for diaper rash treatment
Cons
  • May cause skin to become more oily or shiny over time

Great cream if you get fresh tubes

LOVE this diaper cream, but I have to give it three stars because they clearly sent me old diaper cream. It had separated from the oil and is hard to dispense. If you massage it A LOT then it comes out better. We have gotten this in a store when it was far fresher tubes, and then the quality is exceptional.

Pros
  • Uses colloidal oatmeal to soothe and calm irritated skin
Cons
  • May not be safe for use on broken skin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Strong smell but worth it

My husband absolutely loves this product for our 3 month old. I think the scent is too powerful and have not noticed much of a difference in redness/rash after use. However, the product is wonderful for sensitive skin and came packaged very nicely. Bottom line: smelly, does not worse rash but doesn't heal it either.

Pros
  • Suitable for all seasons and climates
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all diaper brands or types

Great Natural Product

Love this diaper cream. I've been using it on my newborn and haven't had any issues with skin reactions. I stocked up when the price dropped recently and I might buy more because the 3oz bottle do go sort of quick. It smells wonderful though and isn't runny at all like some of the other reviewers have commented.

Pros
  • Provides a natural and safe solution for babies and children's skin care
Cons
  • May not be effective for preventing diaper rash in babies who are teething or experiencing other health issues

Not tested on animals

Organic deoderants gave me an awful red rash on both arm pits. I needed a product that was non- toxic and not tested on animals.Babo botanical smells great (light fresh scent)non greasyIt cleared up my underarm rash in 2 daysThe ointment kept my armpits from stinking for 8 hours. (I couldn’t use deodorant for 2 days)Great priceArrived in two days via Walmart Prime

Pros
  • Clinically tested and dermatologist-approved
Cons
  • May not work well in humid or hot weather conditions

Back to original formulation?

I've used this for over a year. In the beginning it worked wonders, then it changed, then either they went back to the old formulation or I am being shipped old batches because it's great again. Thick and a little goes a long way. It's 25% Zinc oxide. The only cream I've seen with more is a Burt's bees with 40%.

Pros
  • Baby Products
Cons
  • May be difficult to remove from the skin during diaper changes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's good but packaging sucks

It's a good product, consistency of thick creme like burts bees. And just like hurts bees the packaging is not the best. So much leftover product stays in and it's hard to squeeze out, you need to cut half the bottle.

Pros
  • Babo Botanicals
Cons
  • May have a gritty or grainy texture
