My teenage daughter loves this.
Without going into too much detail, my daughter suffers from cramps and pain several days a month. She thinks the warmth helps ease the pain a bit, but the rice bag and heating pad we have cool off too quickly for comfort. She opened it up yesterday, lit it up and was so happy to sit and relax for an hour with this cute little massager/heater. She was very happy with that. She is also a horse rider and tends to have a bit of back pain at least a few times a month. She's not suffering from it at the moment, but she thinks it will be very helpful next time. I am very happy with it. I wasn't sure because of the cheap price but it's a quality item and I'm glad I chose it.
