This is pretty much what you would expect from the picture: - The outsole is quite hard "rubber". - Softer foam midsole. - The material is thicker and multi-layered. - External material is not afraid of water. - Velcro is durable. They do indeed come with plastic spacers (see first picture) so should be in good condition. The only pair of water boots I've had is a thinner mesh that gets wet but doesn't hold water. They are thicker and seem to withstand water, when placed under the sink. Expect them to drip. However, they dried pretty quickly.
