These flashlights are very fun and useful! They light up my kitchen table beautifully and with the remote control I can easily add drama to any moment. The dimming function is also great. Regardless of which color you choose, you can lighten or darken the settings as you see fit. I found it quite amazing to be able to get these features for so little money. I still do Confession Time: I really like them, but I had to order another set today as I didn't install the first set correctly. The space I need is under the cupboard in my kitchen - a very inconvenient place for me to work. (VERY INCONVENIENT!) At first I somehow managed to install them correctly - the miracle is right there. But one of the three sections came loose and obviously didn't glow. Since the remaining 2 sections still covered most of the counter I didn't even try to fix it. It still looked great and gave off a lot of light. Almost 5 months later another section came out, followed by the last one. Normally I'm very organized and can get into the lead in no time, but this time it wasn't like that. Reconnecting them wasn't as easy as I thought. (There's a right way and a wrong way to align the connectors. I'm pretty sure one wrong connection will destroy the light forever.) My first mistake must have been that I didn't prepare the surface well enough to to install them . .I think my second mistake was not making sure the connections between each spacer and the lightstrip were tight. However, my biggest mistake was not mounting them on a piece of cardboard or something and then attaching them all the way. works under the closet. This allows them to be assembled and tested BEFORE attaching them to a permanent surface. I am explaining all this because someone might be in a similar situation. Believe me, I would never have confessed all my mistakes here if I hadn't thought that someone could be helped! My humiliation was worth it! Bottom Line: This little lighting setup is amazing and if you take a little extra time to get it right you will be very pleased! 100% recommended.
