Review on WE Furniture AZR3DSLDRCA Dresser Caramel by Jerry Bergstad

I read and read and read reviews of all the mid-century Walker Edison furniture available at Revain before purchasing a side table, a three-drawer dresser, and a six-drawer dresser. I also spent weeks looking for a cheap bedroom set from every carrier and brand and this was the best in my price range. The reviews scared me, but there were a few promising ones that eventually convinced me to take the risk, and here's what I found out. All in all it's a great thing! Sure, it can take a bit of time to assemble (we calculated the time, this part took us 1.5 hours), but for the price, you get a lot of bang for your buck. My husband and I have handcrafted several dining tables from scratch, so we know how tedious furniture assembly can be. As long as you make sure you have all the parts and read the instructions from start to finish before assembling, you should be fine. Three assembly tips! 1. They say you need to put the backing on sooner than you really have to. We made the decision to put it last to make inserting the drawer slides much easier.2. When using dowels in drawers to prevent them from falling out, insert only the ends of the dowels from the inside of the drawer, push the drawer halfway in, and then drive the dowels all the way in. If not, you may end up in a dead end. Hope this makes sense with directions.3. Some dowel holes are not big enough for dowels. We had the right size drill bit, so we just went through all the dowel holes before inserting them to prevent splitting. ATTENTION: do not force them in, they will split the wood! So you get a fantastic solid pine table FOR THE PRICE! It's absolutely gorgeous. Just don't be rude with it and you'll be fine, and don't let the other reviews scare you. :)
