Seems to work as promised for pain but lacks customer service

We ordered the Roleo on the recommendation of my daughter's doctor. My daughter is a musician and plays the marimba, which is like a giant xylophone. She had many problems with her forearm, wrist and hand from holding hammers and pressing buttons - her ulnar nerve was irritated causing her great pain, her fingers were numb and her hand's function was reduced to this extent. where she could barely hold a pencil to write. She went through physical therapy for about 2 months before trying Roleo with very little improvement so we ended up seeing another doctor who recommended this. It works as described - you place it on the table, put your hand in it and move it back and forth. The upper part is spring-loaded and presses on the hand, massaging the muscles. My daughter noticed a definite improvement after using it a few times - better than anything she had seen from a physical therapist. I think if she used it regularly (like every day after every workout) it would probably basically cure her problem, but of course she's a high school student so she's not that disciplined - she waits until the pain is severe becomes, and then does . But when she does, it relieves the pain pretty much immediately. However, I will say that I missed the customer service. There's a cocking knob at the top that's meant to control the amount of pressure the spring-loaded top puts on your hand. For us, turning the knob to one side or the other doesn't seem to change the amount of pressure at all - maybe a little, but really nothing noticeable. I didn't know if it was supposed to work that way so I emailed the email address on the box to check but never got a response. I suspect ours may be defective, but I guess I'll never know for sure. Anyway it helps with her pain and it was a lot cheaper than paying for physical therapy. I would give 5 stars if the cocking button works as described in the instructions or if the support team responds to me. If you suffer from hand, wrist or forearm pain I would recommend trying it!

Pros
  • Lateral epicondylitis? Medial epicondylitis? tendinitis? - It's time to put an end to the pain and discomfort of chronic disease and inflammation caused by repetitive hand, wrist or forearm movements. Grab the wrist and forearm roller and just get rid of the pain
Cons
  • Something different
