Review on Casablanca Indoor Ceiling Chain Control by Carol Long

We had to replace Hunter (or was it Hampton Bay?) who started making noise after 16 years. I researched a lot longer than I should have done. We wanted the fan not to be outrageously expensive but of decent quality. We didn't need the remote as we have a wall switch and we were worried that after many years the remote would either fail or get lost. After looking at many fans, we decided on Casablanca Concentra. I removed our old fan and then installed a new fan. This involved mounting the blades and blade holders to the motor using the hardware provided and then climbing a 5 foot ladder to install the fan. I found the instructions easy to understand. They provided extra screws and hardware in case I lost something. After installation it worked fine. We can change the direction of the fan (winter/summer) and we can use the pull switch to change the speed. It's very quiet and seems to move a lot of air. We are basically very satisfied with this.
