This carafe is pretty as hell but also ridiculously functional. I'm an Italian red wine lover and almost all Italian wines require at least 1 hour of airtime so decanters or decanters are a must (good in my house). The "Teak" S'well isn't actually made of wood, but it looks very close. He's really wonderful. I was concerned about the metal's reaction to red wine - as it might sweeten or soften a full-bodied red wine - no, not so much. So there is a big +.
