This is a high quality whey protein powder without the extra fillers that other manufacturers add for color and flavor. I can buy just one type of protein powder and use it for whatever I want. I mainly use it for baking, pancakes and oatmeal to add extra protein. For baking, this is the best protein powder I've ever used. I've also tried it for shakes/smoothies, it gets thick and fluffy if you blend enough. It dissolves well and it wasn't too bad. But you can definitely spice it up with fruits, veggies, vanilla extract, flavorings, etc. Protein shakes usually upset my stomach, but this one wasn't that bad.
