cheap keyboards have a problem with the so-called "scrolling", which means that certain key combinations are not registered. This keyboard gives me scrolling problems by registering the very useful Left Ctrl + Left Shift key combo. I use this combo all the time in games and also in my IT career. For example, Ctrl+Shift+Esc can be used to open the Task Manager in Windows. Ctrl+Shift has obvious uses in many games. I consider myself very picky when it comes to keyboards - I roll my eyes at other nerds with their $200 mechanical keyboards. But this keyboard. I basically can't use it for everything I want to use it for. Broken by design. The left control and left shift button are probably the most used pair in any three-button combo I've ever used. You can't create a keyboard where this key combination doesn't work! Bootom line: I recommend trying your luck with another cheap keyboard. You can get something just as bad in this price range, but it doesn't get any worse.
