Soft and cuddly multifunctional baby toy

I love toys that can be reused and grow with my child. This adorable little raccoon isn't just square, it even has multiple functions to help toddlers and babies develop their senses of hearing, sight and touch. Let's start with seeing. The most striking feature is the small mirror on the raccoon's belly. I remember my son looking at himself through such mirrors when his eyesight was beginning to develop. We used small toys with mirrors to keep him interested when he was on his stomach and to encourage him to crawl. Like most baby mirror toys, the mirror is shatterproof and made of reflective plastic. The image is slightly distorted as one would expect from such toys. The colors of this toy are great too. Babies start seeing only in black and white and their eyes can't focus well for the first few months. The raccoon's contrasting snout allows the newborn to focus their eyes on something. As they begin to see color, their attention is drawn to colored fobs, ears, and teethers. To support hearing development, the small ears and tail make a funny rustling sound when touched. This feature also supports causality as babies learn to manipulate things and make sounds. When shaken, this little raccoon makes a soft clink. Very comforting. For touch development, small tags are just great! My son loved his tuggies as a baby and spent a lot of time hooking those little fingers into the loops. The velvety soft fabric will also please the little ones. The teether of this toy also has a different texture with protrusions and ridges. When the time comes, teethers help soothe irritation and sore gums. Speaking of teethers, I doubt they are 100% silicone. They look plastic to me personally. They don't have the flexible and grippy properties of silicone. While I'm not an expert, I could be wrong. They don't smell though, so that's a plus. If you are looking for a versatile children's toy, this toy should be at the top of your list. The included clip makes it possible to transport this toy with your child in the car and stroller and can also be attached to a seesaw. I can't wait for my little girl to show up so I can give her this little raccoon. 5 Stars.
