My first 4 cups with this machine were a disappointment. 3 cups frothed milk (no froth) and 1 cup cold milk (no froth). I felt like I had tried everything. skimmed milk, almond milk, whole milk. Latte mode, cappuccino mode. I was willing to put the item back in the box and return it because the price was too high if only she would make a coffee. My last desperate effort has paid off! I wonder why they gave me that cap for the foam concentrate? Maybe it serves a purpose in that. That's why I used 2% Promised Land milk for the cappuccino WITH LID ON PENINERE. Success! It wasn't just a little foam or flimsy either. It was a lot of foam and very thick. So if you're having foam issues and haven't used a lid, give it a try! Somehow that changes everything.
