The boots are exactly what we expected. Riding boots with a deep fit for children. A little clarification on sizing, as there seems to be a lot of questions about sizing, and because baby sizing is sometimes hard to decipher (US only): In the US, newborns are usually size 0/1 and sizes go larger up to 13. Then Sizes start at 1 and go up to around 10/11 for women and 12/13 for men (but can be larger as some men and women may need even larger sizes. These boots start at size 8 for small children (around 3 years old) to size 5 for large kid/adult sizes (which can range from 12 to adult). My daughter who is 4 years old fits a size 10 and fits great (her usual tennis shoe size is 9/10 The age indication is of course just an estimate as foot sizes vary significantly from person to person at any age.
