I have a few pure wool styles that I've worn to the end. They are size 43 and fit great from the start. I was excited when they arrived last week, but that excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I put them on. too large. I find it a bit odd that same size slippers from the same manufacturer, just with a different sole, are so different. I sent the 43s back; The 42s should arrive in a few days. Fingers (and toes) crossed. THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW. I received my replacement pair (size 42). They fit well and are very comfortable. I'm wearing them as I write this.
