Save money on shaving and hair removal products
The bowl is large enough to hold almost any shaving soap. Holding the cup is a different story. As for travel, it's not mine. The lid fits very loosely, loose enough that I don't expect to have soap in it when you get to your destination. I also like to make sure the soap cake is dry to avoid "dropping off" a loose lid if the bowl is bumped while driving. My wife has now. It stands on her desk and makes a great paper clip holder.
