I was disappointed that the monitor didn't come with an HDMI cable. When using these monitors with a laptop, most docking stations offer an HDMI connection, some offer a PC VGA connection, but none offer a DVI connection. I know that DVI and HDMI are essentially the same, except DVI does not contain sound. The manufacturer should include HDMI cables for a more versatile connection method. Picture quality is good, but the settings screens are awkward to use and you have to be careful which buttons you press or the monitor will disconnect from the dock and have to reconnect.
