They have absolutely no padding or support but are very comfortable in hot summer weather. I take them every time I go swimming so I have something waterproof that's easy to put on and take off. But I often wear them around the house or for a short outing simply because they are so comfortable and quite comfortable in hot summer weather. I should also note that they are not really non-slip. My partner bought the exact same shoes, almost slipped at work and fell on a wet spot on the floor and warned me about it. I also run a size or two smaller than I normally wear. Again, my partner ordered the exact same shoes before me and he ordered his normal size and they were a size or two too big. I usually wear a size 8 with boots and a size 7 with regular shoes so I ordered a size 6 in case they are too big as I don't want them to fall off my feet. If I ordered something smaller they wouldn't fit, if I ordered something larger they probably would fit fine but these seem good enough.
