The photo of the stand corresponds to reality. But I paired this with a Monoprice stand (which holds the main monitor) because I needed a smaller stand for the second monitor (which is tilted to my left and therefore takes up less space). The Monoprice stand is a little better for the same price - the glass is thicker, the shine on the matte chrome legs is a little nicer, and the bottom cover fits snugly leaving no gaps, while this product leaves a clean line there inside is a little visible. Neither of these things is a deal breaker, but they're obviously side by side. Also, the lower chrome cap on one of the new legs came loose and had to be glued back on. there are other options.
