I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the tip. I was really expecting something thinner and cheaper. But it's still clean. The ruffle is enough but not too much. If there were too many ruffles, you couldn't see the pattern on the lace. I'm not sure but I think queen was for queen and king? Just be aware that this is the amount of bells and whistles you get in a queen. If this happens to the standard king, I imagine it's more of a flat paneled skirt than a puffy one. It will still be beautiful depending on your taste. But you wouldn't want to pair it with a very ruffled king size skirt. There is no adjustable strap on the elastic but mine fit my queen perfectly. If you need to make adjustments, it's not hard to do with a few safety pins. I paired this with a solid sage green dusty ruffle and it came out really pretty. One of the packs had wrinkles, I just tossed both in the dryer and tossed in a damp washcloth for about 5 minutes and they came out beautiful. I recommend, it's absolutely perfect.
