This hook is definitely a big step forward over ordinary hooks. I use it in the kitchen to hang towel rails and love how the stainless steel matches my appliances. I attached it directly to the closet and it has held strong ever since. I've added a photo so you can see it in situ. Having such a beautiful hook is a small detail in the overall picture of things, but it helps give my kitchen a sophisticated look. Also, I'm glad I didn't have to drill and screw a hole. I removed the back plastic cover, glued it on and that was it. I also like that the hook part can be folded against the rest of the base if I need to get it out of the way. It is well made and looks very nice.
