where to start? Requires an app (Android in my case), is unstable and not designed for usability. Sengled has many different app options on the Google Play Store and it is not intuitive which app fits which of their devices. Then, for reasons I can't figure out, the app needs access to the phone's GPS. In order to use the app, you need to create an account on the app before you can connect to these lightbulbs. This requires an email address and - again for reasons I can't figure out - a long, complex, mixed letter and number password. (So nobody hacks into my kitchen lights, I assume?) After jumping through those hoops, there was nothing I could do to get the app on my phone to recognize the bulbs I was trying. (Honestly I bought a set of 8 but only tried to get 3 to work before I gave up and turned to Google for help. I found a link to the Sengled website but I had to login to to see the result Prepare yourself Another disappointment: the login on the support website does not use the email address and password required in the phone app!?!?!?!So much trouble and so much time wasted other SmartHome devices and I've been an IT pro for decades but This whole package isn't fit for prime time use On the plus side the bulbs are very bright and drain - measured by Kill-a -Watts - actually just a hair under the 9w spec so be careful with the security environment Sengled bulbs , hubs or switches!
