These cases seemed to protect the camera from the weather very well, but the mounts were a huge PITA to work with in my opinion. The machine's thumbscrew only allows about 3 turns before it falls apart in your hands, usually falling to the ground when you're most likely standing on a ladder. Turning the screw so that it doesn't speak makes it harder to set the camera to the desired angle. Being able to rotate 360 degrees means you have to rotate the end of the wall as the end of the camera only moves in one direction. You can, but the stairs are very difficult. I found a better mount and used this instead. These mounts were discarded.
