We don't have a dog so my kids love to walk these animals. Everyone has one to play with with this set of two dogs, a dog and a cat. Aside from this difference, pets tend to be the same color. The leash is long enough for my kids to walk on the floor with it. They do better on hard floors like wood than carpet. The line can sometimes be bent a bit, I would like it if it were a little stronger. Pets make cute noises when they "walk". The animals themselves are very affectionate. The fur is soft, but underneath they are a little hard. It would be nice if they were more like stuffed animals in that regard. They definitely work as described and my kids love them. I was afraid they would get dirty on the outside, so I told the kids they were "pets"!
