I have a 12 year old 50 inch Panasonic plasma TV that still works and has a wonderful picture . So I didn't want to throw it away because it cost me $3000 and it still works great. I couldn't watch anything from the web or Fire Stick on this TV so I got this device to make it a Smart TV and it works great.
