Xbox can now easily communicate with my receiver
I bought this to allow my Xbox One to control my AV Receiver. First, I had an Xbox One and receiver in an open-shelf outdoor entertainment center. The Xbox can wirelessly transmit this IR signal itself and communicate normally. However, when I changed the entertainment setting so that both the Xbox and receiver were on separate shelves behind a closet with the door closed, my Xbox stopped controlling the receiver. After realizing that the closet doors were blocking the IR signal, I bought this cable. This is a very inexpensive solution to this problem. I definitely recommend this cable.
