I think this chair suits the budget conscious user who doesn't have back problems. Speaking for myself, that chair wasn't there. I have occasional lower back pain and have seen a chiropractor for this in the past. My sacroiliac joint is usually the cause of this back pain, my hips are misaligned (I put more weight on my right foot than my left). This leads to muscle spasms and stiffness in my lower back, which sometimes makes me unable to move quickly or even stand up straight. With that in mind, it would be obvious that buying a $50 task chair wasn't a good idea at the time the government introduced the orphanage. I let my frugality get the better of me, and my back ended up suffering. I was exhausted from back pain and spent the last weekend lying on my stomach and not even drying myself in the bathroom (I know TMI). The point of my over-detailed story is quite simply to say: use common sense. If you don't have back problems this is definitely a bargain. If you do this, remember that you get what you pay for. You have to move frequently when you decide to buy this chair and you have to understand that it costs less than $50. The support isn't the best, the seat of the chair is hard, there is little to no lumbar support, and the chair tilts (left or right depending on which side you lean more).
