Review on 🧡 EverSewn Sparrow 15: A Versatile Mechanical Sewing Machine with 32 Built-in Stitches for Crafting, Mending, and Both Beginner and Advanced Sewists by Angela Rodriguez

Good entry-level machine at a low price.

Just read the manual and set up this machine last night. Easy-to-follow instructions for refilling and setting up. it happened in the blink of an eye. So far only basting sewn onto blocks of denim quilts and everything has worked flawlessly. It's nice to have a machine that's easy to learn after the last attempt to master the Bernina 830. The Sparrow is used by others who sew and quilt at my home, as well as a street machine for their own use and as a spare. Not a problem at all, but I did notice that due to the very low RPM, it was a bit louder than what I was used to from my old mechanical Singer machine. Silences immediately after increasing the sewing speed. What I like: 1st prize - this machine is ideal for beginners/quilters; 2. Easy to set up and use - this machine was very easy to thread and the bottom loading spool is familiar to me. Winding it up wasn't difficult, just like the old Singer machines. 3. Mechanical Machine - No need to wait for the computer to boot up and costly repair bills if it breaks down. 4. a nice box with accessories stored right next to the machine. (4 bobbins, 7 seam tracks. Looks like it uses standard presser feet and accessories (think I could use the walking foot from my Singer 6212 on Sparrow). What I don't like: 1. (Therefore not a problem for me have another bigger quilting machine) but the distance between the needle and the machine body (neck depth?) is not very big, so if you want to quilt, the QAYG method is necessary.

Pros
  • SPRROW 15 CONSTRUCTION: EverSewn sewing machines have a sturdy metal frame. The Sparrow 15 has a free arm length of 150mm and a maximum sewing speed of 750 stitches per minute.
