I bought two of these, one for me and one for my daughter. As far as I can tell, the silk is genuine. I did a burn test and it worked as it should. The fabric burned, but once it burned through, it stopped immediately. It smelled of natural fibers like your hair would smell if burned. In addition, the residue crumbled after incineration rather than being rolled like synthetic plastic material. So I give it 100% authenticity. I'm wearing it as I write this review and I have to admit it fits quite well. It didn't slip or move unless I adjusted it. I look forward to sleeping in it tonight. I will update you on the effects on my heavily processed hair during menopause.
