It seems that all swimwear now comes with compression. This should serve the performance. In my case, however, this has the opposite effect. The compression is not only uncomfortable for me, it also restricts my circulation and freedom of movement. I have a mild arrhythmia and compression suits cause it while swimming. I ordered a size up (usually a 32, ordered a 34; I'm 5ft 2in, 96lbs, 34A) hoping it would make up for that. Although the size of the suit suited me, the compression made it more comfortable. It's unbearable, especially around my chest and upper back. Too bad because the price was amaaaaaaz for a speedo suit.
