Yes, you read that right. We have two older cats (20 and 22 years old) who usually drink lots of water. The filter was out after 30 days. We only provide a bowl of water - no filtered water. Neither of them drank from the bowl. After not seeing her drink for a day, we freaked out and went in search of these filters. After installing a new filter, they've been drinking for 30 minutes and are now drinking heavily again. Our old boy and old girl are very happy and drinking like the well never runs dry.
