They worked for what I needed, which was to turn some of my USB-C cables into iPhone cables after I switched from Samsung to iPhone. I could see my iPhone connecting to my laptop and Apple Car Play in my car. HOWEVER, this connection between adapter and USB-C is questionable. Some cables connected well to others. not as much. Might depend on how old your cables are. If the connection was more reliable I would give this 5 stars.
