I wanted to start journaling on my iPad and needed a pen to do it, just like I wanted. I ordered this pen as I wanted it to be compatible with my iPad. When I received it I let the pen fully die and then fully charged it. The stylus works by touching the tip of the stylus and then using it on the iPad. No need to download an app or sync with Bluetooth. The pen turns off after a while (not during use), which saves battery life. The pen is precise and has two heads for a wide or narrow line. Good pen for the price. Would be a good graduation present.
