Review on Floor fan VITEK VT-1948, black by Wiktor Barczuk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

1. Noise. I can’t attribute this to pluses or minuses, because. Noisy like any other fan. Not loud or quiet - just fine. 2. Has 3 classic modes: NORMAL (normal), NATURE (aka breeze), SLEEP (night mode). I used only the first mode, because. the other two are useless. Normal - blows at a constant speed, adjustable separately. Breeze - randomly changes speed from zero to maximum, such as random wind blows, IMHO, a dubious mode. Night mode - cyclically changes the speed from zero to the set one (or also to the maximum, did not pay attention); supposed to run at a lower rpm for less noise, but I don't think it's pleasant to sleep when the fan goes on and off. You can take this fan up to 3 thousand. But more expensive - it is worth considering.

Pros
  • 1. Price. An ordinary budget fan for its money, which performs its main function - to drive air around the room. What else does!? 2. Remote control (without batteries included). A trifle, but nice. 3. Semi-automatic mechanism for turning the "head" left-right. You press a button on the remote control or on the fan itself, and it starts to turn. Another press stops. This is somewhat more convenient than the usual classic protruding screw-button. 4. Appearance. From afar, or if you have poor eyesight, the fan tries to look expensive. That junk stand is hidden by a glossy plastic overlay. 5. Fairly easy to assemble, apart from the moment with the telescopic rod. 6. Subjectively it blows quite well. I used only the average speed, it was enough for me. 7. Simple, convenient and intuitive control panel with indication and sound feedback. The buttons are nice to press. 8. The presence of a timer: from 0.5 hours to 7.5 hours in increments of 0.5 hours. 9. Stable, does not crumble, does not creak, does not crack when touched, does not play anything.
Cons
  • 1. Weight stand made from recycled waste. No, I am by no means against recycling, but it could have been covered at least from the bottom with a fixing varnish or simply masked. 2. Telescopic rod (the thing that allows you to change the height of the fan). When assembling, at first I thought that a part was missing . Well, what kind of genius could think of hiding the metal part of the bar inside the second part, where else can you go and pull it out!? With grief in half, I did it. 3. Short wire. Roulette showed 1.5 meters. Enough to reach only to the very nearest outlet. 4. There is no hook or other device on the fan case for storing the remote control.
