It would be great if they were heavier.
They create a lot of small bubbles, but the suction cups that come with them don't hold up well. I decided to put them on the bottom of my tank, which is a flat surface, but they still wouldn't stay in place. They're probably good for something small. I ended up replacing them with regular 4 inch bricks.
