The plastic hook for attaching the rubber band was pulled out of the holder after about 3 months of use. Tried gluing but had to make two trips with my reverse light after it rumbled down a dark street and had to be picked up. After 90 days, this seller or manufacturer can no longer be reached. This light is bright enough to use on the street in the dark without streetlights. I only drive at night on familiar roads. Much smaller than my previous lamp. Battery life is about 3 1/2 hours on the highest setting. It is very easy to install. The elastic band is part of the mount so it is very easy to install. Because there's no separate mount, you'll have to detach it every time you want to charge it. You cannot charge them where you store your bike. I'm a bit concerned that all the cycles on the rubber band could lead to premature failure, but time will tell. At this price you can hardly go wrong.
