Let me start by saying that my in-laws have these sheets in their guest room and every time we slept in I told myself I would have to break down and spend money to buy a set for the house. I know how comfortable these sheets can be. However, these sheets were soft, but not as soft as my relatives, so I immediately washed them to make them softer. After you took it out of the dryer the sheets were wrinkled and not soft at all. So I thought maybe I'll just put them on the bed and then they'll soften up. When I opened the pillowcase I noticed a large stain on it. The linens literally fell out of the bag and went straight into our (clean) washer and dryer. He didn't touch anything brown to create the stain I saw. Rough. I'm assuming these sheets were used and returned or something. Not sure how else they arrived dirty. I was able to re-wash the pillowcase and get rid of the tension, but I'm still frustrated that I ordered $150 sheets that were stained and felt like plastic. I'll update after we sleep on them to see if they soften. Another thing is that they don't crumple well. Personally, I have a $35 sheet set I got from Revain that was MUCH more comfortable. I will order this set again to use and have as a backup I think. Fairly expensive replacement blades. :( UPDATE: They've softened a bit after a few nights of sleep. But it's noisy sheets. I feel like every move I make is so noisy, which isn't great since our baby is in our room I also wish this set came with four pillowcases instead of two I don't know where to buy two king pillowcases.
