Also for use and gifts. I got them mainly because I need a homemade bug spray, but I use them not only for that, but also for cologne, toilet spray, room/linen spray, air freshener. I'm sure the list will grow. I have used and given away many of these and have just placed my second order. I was a little worried about the smell that some people have mentioned in their reviews, but I'm happy to report that I didn't have this issue with my first order. I hope that means they fixed the problem and that I'm not just lucky! I haven't had any leaking issues once the lid is on well. The trick to doing this for me seemed to be not to overfill the bottle. If you do, adding the cap and spray mechanism will force the liquid over the top and yes, there will be a leak. The bottles appear thin, but they are made of impact-resistant glass. I've dropped them many times and it hasn't hurt me. My cat, on the other hand, once swept a paw off my bedside table and it broke. I'm not exactly sure how he did it, but maybe it was just the wrong angle. But that's the only thing broken. Which is pretty good considering I've dropped them many times outside on my hard ground and asphalt. This gets me how easy it is to carry them in your pocket, put them in your backpack, the TSA doesn't care about them in your carry-on - bugs love me so I almost always carry a bottle of bug repellent with me and I took them in my carry-on to share with friends. I hope my second order works out as well as the first! They are amazing and I would definitely recommend them.
