I chose this product because of the layout. Coming from a Corsair k95, I didn't need all the extra macro keys anymore. I wanted something compact but still with all the buttons and RGB. I've used all sorts of mechanical keyboards and this one is great, especially for the price. I got Red Hot Swap Keys and it's been great so far. One of my favorite things about this layout is the F keys. There are no longer large gaps between them, making the keys easier to hit. Can't comment on the battery or its wireless use, I'm always wired but it might be good in the future if I need it. 2 complaints about the keyboard: thick base (don't try it without the palm rest, it's too big to be comfortable) and it takes a while to get used to the home/end/del key placement to have. I now have two of these (one for work, one for play) and plan to use them on my daily commutes for the foreseeable future. I love this arrangement!
