Review on Kuryakyn 8965 Motorcycle Foot Control by Rick Howlett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Installation may be difficult

I recommend reading all of the instructions before you begin, at least once so you can effectively plan how to make this change of control . It was easy for me to park the bike neatly if I shifted to the side of the gearshift, otherwise my lift would get in the way. The brake side was tricky because I had to reroute the brake line and it took a while. This is my first time modifying the handling on a bike so maybe I just don't have enough experience with all of this. Still, it only took 2-3 hours to install, which is not too bad compared to some other mods. I like the feel of the controls in the middle position rather than the default front position. Works amazing for my overall short frame.

Pros
  • Relocates factory pin mounts, rear brake master cylinder, brake lever and shifter; Includes all necessary hardware and components to install
Cons
  • I have no dislikes, everything is fine
