I bought this and a smaller device (Portal+ and Portal). This is an excellent device. It's crystal clear and has a nice widescreen view. I placed the smaller device in my office and the larger device at home. It's very easy to use and my 5 year old can now call me from home while I'm at work. Please note that I only use this for calls between portals. I don't use it to make phone calls through another device. In this respect he is impeccable. The only reason I gave it a * is that the + portal is quite large and prominent. Unlike the smaller device (which I also own), it's awkward to place and takes up a lot of space due to its unusual size. The smaller portal device is perfect and I would highly recommend it as a first time purchase. I've used it with one device at my office, one device at home and one device at my parents' house. It really allows us all to communicate flawlessly and in that respect it's just fantastic. Please do not pay attention to people who rate this device solely on the actions of the company. In fact, the goal should be to evaluate the device as well as how it works and works. However, I notice an unusual verification activity. Interestingly, I really like the smaller portal and would rate it five stars, but I couldn't. See attached picture. strange.
